The Westlake Tunnel Station would be an ideal location for a 2nd bike station in Seattle (Seattle's other bike station serves Commuter Rail, the ID Light Rail Station and South Downtown). The Pioneer Square bike station is great, but it doesn't make much sense for lots of commuters who work near Westlake or Denny Triangle or commute from Capitol Hill or neighborhoods to the north of the city.
Downtown Berkley's BART Station in the Bay Area a Bike Station located on the mezzanine level. I used it one summer when I was living with my girlfriend at the time in the Bay area. It is awesome.
They offer free bike parking under the watchful eye of an attendant. They also hawk bike repairs and gear. You can learn more here:
